What’s on the table today?: Where in the heck will Baker Mayfield land? (+ Betting Odds)
After the Atlanta Falcons traded Matt Ryan to the Colts and signed Marcus Mariota, the possible landing spots for Baker Mayfield keep dwindling.
Where will Baker land?
- Seahawks? Drew Lock ain’t the guy…is Baker? (+500)
- Arizona? Do the Cards wanna really push their own little tiny QB? If so, sign Baker and let the two diminutive signal callers duke it out. (N/A)
- New York? The Giants “SAID” they’re committed to Daniel Jones….and is Baker even really an upgrade? (N/A)
- Steelers? They’ve seen this guy in division for his entire career…I’m pretty sure they know what he is and isn’t. And also, isn’t Mitch Trubisky possibly better anyway? Wow…let that sink in. (N/A)
- Houston? They seemed to like Davis Mills, and he’s way cheaper than Baker, won’t cause any of the hub-ub of Baker, and is probably about as good as Baker. (+800)
- Saints? This “feels” like it could make some sense but can the Saints afford Baker? Is there ANY interest at all on the Saints part? Dennis Allen has taken over for Sean Payton but don’t expect that to be the same offense. Also, isn’t Jameis Winston probably a better QB than Baker? Yea, he probably is. Again…Wow…Sad….Yikes (+800) **Jameis Winston signed a 2yr deal to stay w/New Orleans on Monday**
Panthers? Again, really sad to say but Sam Darnold is already under contract and about the same QB in many ways. Baker is probably better but wow is he more of a headache. I can’t see CAR giving anything up here, but who knows, they did guarantee Darnold that 5th year after like 2 minutes and 6 good throws…(+450)
