LeBron James is back in the lineup, just in time for a matchup with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Los Angeles Lakers host the Milwaukee Bucks, beginning with pregame on WKTY at 8:30 p.m. Tipoff on 96.7 FM / 580 AM is at 9 p.m.
James returned from a month absence on Saturday with a triple double, scoring 29 points to go with 13 rebounds and 10 assists. In 37 games this season, the 37-year-old is averaging 29.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists.
For the 27-year-old Antetokounmpo, in 45 games, he’s averaging 28.9 points, 11.2 rebounds and 5.9 assists.
James and Antetokounmpo have yet to match up this season.
In the one game head-to-head last year, James finished with 34 points, hitting 6 of 10 from deep, while Antetokounmpo had 25 points, 12 rebounds, as the Lakers won 113-106 at the Bucks arena.
With the all-star break looming, the Bucks (34-21) sit second in a ridiculously tight Eastern Conference where the top seven teams are all separated by just two games.
In the West, the Lakers are sitting ninth, 3.5 games removed from the play-in tournament. They’re 17.5 games behind the Phoenix Suns, who lead the conference.
