Badgers look to get back at Maryland after upset loss last time out
La Crosse’s Jonathan Davis and the Wisconsin men’s basketball team look to bounce back Wednesday night, after a loss to No. 15 Ohio State.
The Badgers dropped to 14th in the nation, losing 74-62 to OSU on Saturday.
Davis had another rough shooting game, going 2-for-6 from the field and 1 of 2 from the line, scoring five points. He did add five rebounds, two assists and a steal.
The freshman is second on the team in rebounds (4.6) and is averaging 6.4 points but shooting just 41.6% from the field.
At 8 p.m. tonight on the Big Ten Network, Wisconsin (12-4) plays at Maryland (9-7).
Dec. 28 is when they last met up. The Badgers were ranked sixth in the nation at the time and the unranked Terrapins won 70-64. Davis had four points, three rebounds in 18 minutes in that contest.
