A week after Wisconsin high schools decided to delay fall sports, the WIAC has decided to cancel them altogether. Competitions in football, women’s soccer, women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s cross country will be suspended for the 2020-21 fall term.
Individual institutions may establish practice opportunities for athletes as conditions allow during the fall term. Women’s tennis and women’s golf will be moved to the 2020-21 spring term, and determinations with regards to winter sports will be made at a later date.
