Detroit signs ex-Packers WR Geronimo Allison
He was an undrafted free agent pickup by the Green Bay Packers in 2016.
It’s hard to say Geronimo Allison never worked out for the Packers, given that fact.
Now, the 26-year-old receiver is headed to the Detroit Lions.
Allison signed a one-year, $910,000 contract with the NFC North rival, according to the NFL Network.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers depth chart at receiver now looks like this: DaVante Adams, Allen Lazard, free-agent acquisition Devin Funchess, followed by Jake Kumerow and Marquez Valdes-Cantling.
Detroit’s depth chart now looks like Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones followed by Danny Amendola, Travis Fulgham, Marvin Hall and Allison.
Last season, Allison had 34 catches for 287 yards, a career low 8.4 yards per catch, and two touchdowns.
