He was a Mr. Football finalist last fall. Now, Caledonia High School’s Noah King has been named a Top 10 finalist for Minnesota Mr. Basketball.

King has helped lead the Caledonia boys basketball team to the No. 1 ranking in Class 2A. The Warriors are 18-1, their only loss came 92-71 on Jan. 31 to Minnehaha Academy, which is ranked No. 1 in Class 3A.

The finalist list will be cut to five on Feb. 24.

King, a 6-foot-2 guard, verbally committed to play basketball at South Dakota State University back in September. His brother Owen King also plays for the team.

In football, the King brothers each led Caledonia to back-to-back undefeated seasons and state championships the past four years.
