One more Pro Bowl and Aaron Rodgers will tie two of his predecessors.

The 36-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback was named a to his eighth Pro Bowl, behind starter Russell Wilson and backup Drew Brees on the NFC roster.

Hall of Famers Brett Favre and Forrest Gregg for the most in Packers’ history, both selected nine times.

Rodgers main protector, David Bakhtiari was named the starter at offensive tackle.

The Minnesota Vikings had three named to the team: Running back Dalvin Cook was named the starter, along with strong saftey Harrison Smith, who’s making his fifth consecutive pro bowl.

Cook has compiled 1,135 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 250 carries (4.54 average), along with 53 receptions for 519 yards. Cook is one of two running backs (along with Carolina’s Christian McCaffrey) with at least 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in 2019.

Minnesota defensive end Danielle Hunter was selected for the second consecutive season.

The Pro Bowl will be played on Jan. 26, 2020 – the Sunday between the conference championship games and Super Bowl – in Orlando, Fla.
