Adrenaline-boosting, indoor trampoline center getting closer to completion in La Crosse
Every day brings completion of a highly anticipated indoor trampoline park closer in La Crosse.
The Jump Start Adventure Park is located on Cty. B, a quarter-mile off Hwy. 16.
It’s a 58,000-square-foot space. Much of that will soon be filled with trampolines, obstacle courses, zip lines, cargo nets and foam pits.
If it sounds like a great place for kids in the winter, you’d be right, says assistant general manager Jake Malmin.
“Especially in the winter when it’s easy to sit at home and play on the Playstation, Xbox or the computer,” Malmin said. “We just feel this would be a great opportunity for all kids who want to try and learn how to live a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.”
Malmin says the facility will also have areas for little kids, as well as a cafe and, maybe, a beer garden at some point.
Jump Start will be open before Christmas. To get there, Malmin says crews are working around the clock, and every day there’s another delivery of new equipment — like the thousands and thousands of trampoline springs delivered on pallets.
“Kind of overwhelming thinking how we’re going to put all those on,” Malmin said. “But, at the same point, you think of what it will look like when it comes to fruition.”
Jump Start will be kid focused, but Malmin also thinks the facility would be ideal for adults —for those classic team building exercises.
