WKTY Cares Donation
La Crosse School District Planetarium
WKTY Cares has area students seeing stars. We’ve made a donation to the La Crosse School District Planetarium This recently updated facility is housed on the 3rd floor of La Crosse Central High School and is really, really cool! The planetarium will accommodate a maximum of 49 people. There are 38 theater seats and 2 wheelchair spaces and offer headphones for hearing impaired guests and an iPad with speech-to-text capability.
The planetarium offer events open to the public as well as welcoming school and scouting groups, summer programs, and private customizable events.
WKTY Cares is proud to partner with Kratt Lumber Company and Performance Foodservice to make a donation of $1,000 to the planetarium to continue their work educating and entertaining our community. Accepting the donation is La Crosse Central students Carly, Emilia, Ben and the student advisor Chad.
