UW-La Crosse WR Jack Studer on Packers invite to rookie minicamp, plus coach Matt Janus
We talked with both UW-La Crosse football coach Matt Janus and his record-breaking wide receiver, Jack Studer, about getting the invite to rookie minicamp with the Green Bay Packers.
For the past few months, Studer has been in the Twin Cities, getting ready for this opportunity. Studer talks about what NFL Draft weekend was like for him, getting that phone call and what to expect, as he tries to make his dream come true.
With Janus, we started out talking a bit about spring camps wrapping up, before getting into the legacy that Studer leaves at UW-L, as the team’s all-time leader in touchdown receptions (35), receiving yards (3,127) and is second in career receptions (182).
We also talk with both about why Studer is nicknamed The Alien.
