
Onalaska’s Donarski scores 12, as No. 14 North Carolina advances to ACC semifinals
Onalaska native Lexi Donarski scored 12 points, as the 14th-ranked North Carolina women’s basketball team advanced to the ACC tournament semifinals for the first time since 2014.
The Tar Heels held off No. 22 Florida State, getting a 60-56 win. North Carolina (27-6) moves on to play No. 7 NC State (25-5) at 11 a.m. Saturday on ESPN2.

The last time these teams met up, NC won 66-65 at home, sinking two free throws in the final seconds. Donarski scored 10 points in that game, but was just 3-for-11 from the field.
Friday, Donarski shot 5 of 12 from the field and 2-for-7 from beyond the arc. She added three rebounds, a block and had one turnover in 33 minutes.
Donarski, in her final collegiate season, has scored in double figures 12 of her last 15 games.
