La Crosse’s Kotkowski, No. 1 Badgers sweep Bemidji St. to end regular season
La Crosse’s Katie Kotlowski and the top-ranked University of Wisconsin women’s hockey team finished the regular season off with a pair of 6-1 wins this weekend at Bemidji St.

Kotlowski is in her final collegiate season and plays defense for the Badgers (30-1-2), whose only loss this season came 3-2 at No. 2 Ohio State back in mid-November.
They also tied OSU once and tied No. 10 St. Cloud State.
Wisconsin now heads home to open the conference tournament with, again, Bemidji State in a three-game series on Friday and Saturday. UW plays the first two games at home, which are both already sold out.
The NCAA tournament start March 13. The Badgers took second last season and won the championship in 2023 and 2021.
