Onalaska native Lexi Donarski scored nine points, as the No. 9 North Carolina women’s basketball team had no trouble with Syracudse in a 68-58 win.
Donarski was just 3-for-12 from the field — 3 of 9 from deep — and added three rebounds, an assist, a steal and no turnovers in a team-leading 40 minutes.
North Carolina (24-4), which has won six in a row and nine of 10, now plays back-to-back games on ESPN, beginning with Louisville at 1 p.m. Sunday, then at No. 11 Duke next week.
