Onalaska’s Donarski hitting 47% of her 3s during No. 9 North Carolina’s 8-1 stretch
Onalaska native Lexi Donarski and the North Carolina women’s basketball team plays its first game Thursday as a member of the Top 10.
The ninth-ranked Tar Heels (23-4) head to Syracuse (10-15) for a 5 p.m. tip.
Donarski has scored double digits in seven of her past nine games.
Over that stretch, she’s shot 47.1 percent from beyond the arc, hitting 2.7 3-pointers per game while averaging 12 points.
The Tar Heels have gone 8-1 in those games. After Syracuse, North Carolina plays back-to-back games on ESPN at Louisville (18-7) and at No. 11 Duke (20-6) — which it beat 53-46 in overtime back in early January.
