Onalaska native Lexi Donarksi and the North Carolina women’s basketball team moved up two spots in the Top 25 poll after a pair of wins last week.
The Tar Heels (20-4) are now ranked 13th, after beating No. 19 Cal 65-52 and Stanford 69-67 during a west coast trip.
Donarski had seven points against Cal and 12 versus Stanford.
The shooting guard scored in double figures six of the past seven games, averaging 13 points. Over that stretch, she’s hit three 3-pointers a game at a 54.5% clip. She’s also averaged 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals during the run.
The Tar Heels don’t play until a road game Sunday at Clemson.
