La Crosse’s Kotlowski, top-ranked Badgers face off against No. 3 Minnesota this weekend

Another giant test this weekend for La Crosse’s Katie Kotlowski and University of Wisconsin women’s hockey team, which remained, of course, the top-ranked team in the nation after a pair of wins last weekend.
The No. 1 Badgers (27-1-2) face third-ranked Minnesota (22-6-1) in Madison on Saturday and Sunday.
Kotlowski, who has been playing since she was a freshman and is now in her final collegiate season, plays defense for UW.
Wisconsin beat No. 6 Minnesota-Duluth (15-11-2) in overtime last Friday and 2-1 in regulation on Saturday.
Back in mid-October, the Badgers beat Minnesota 5-0 and 4-3 on the road in Minneapolis.
