For the second consecutive game, Onalaska native Lexi Donarski led the 14th-ranked North Carolina women’s basketball team in scoring, as the Tar Heels won again.

Donarski was 5 of 12 from beyond the arc in scoring all 15 of her points, as North Carolina blew out Pitt 75-58 on the road.

Donarski, in her final collegiate season, added three assists, a steal. a rebound and no turnovers in 30 minutes — the most on the Tar Heels (17-3).

This is the second game in a row Donarski has hit five 3-pointers, which is tied for the second most in her career — a feat she’s done multiple times.

The 15 is also tied for the second-most points she’s scored this season for North Carolina, which is back in action at home Thursday against Wake Forest (7-11).

Donarski’s career high is 26 points, which she did her sophomore year at Iowa State. She also nailed six 3-pointers in that 108-39 win against Prairie View A&M.

That set a career-high in 3s, which she tied on three occasions last season.
