Onalaska native Lexi Donarski was on fire Thursday in leading the No. 14 North Carolina women’s basketball team in scoring in a 64-33 win over SMU.

Donarski, in her final collegiate season, nailed 5 of 6 from beyond the arc in scoring all 15 of her points.

The guard added two rebounds, a steal, an assist and one turnover in 28 minutes for the Tar Heels (16-3).

The five 3-pointers is the second-most she’s hit in a game in her career. She’s done that twice this season.

The 15 is tied for the second-most points she’s scored this season.

Donarski’s career high is 26 points, which she did her sophomore year at Iowa State. She also nailed six 3-pointers in that 108-39 win against Prairie View A&M.

That set a career-high in 3s, which she tied on three occasions last season.

Donarski also dropped 23 points — the second-most of her career — twice last season.

North Carolina is back in action at 1 p.m. Sunday at Pitt.
