Badgers look to push win streak to 3 Friday, hosting Iowa
The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team looks to make it three consecutive wins when it hosts Iowa on Friday.
After getting ranked as high as No. 11, the Badgers (10-3) dropped three in a row to Michigan, No. 5 Marquette and Illinois. They have since gone on to beat Butler and Detroit Mercy.
At 6 p.m. Friday, Wisconsin looks to snap an Iowa (10-3) three-game win streak that includes a pair of 100-point games. The Hawkeyes beat New Orleans 104-57 and New Hampshire 112-70.
John Tonje leads UW in scoring at 19.2 points on 45.5% shooting. Four Badgers are averaging double figures, while Iowa has three, led by Owen Freeman at 17.1 points.
