Onalaska’s Donarksi and No. 17 North Carolina take on 11-1 Miami, before showdown with No. 2 Notre Dame
Over a week between games, Onalaska native Lexi Donarksi and the 17th-ranked North Carolina women’s basketball team will be back in action this weekend.
At 3 p.m. Sunday, the Tar Heels put their 12-2 record on the line at 11-1 Miami — a week before they face off against No. 3 Notre Dame (10-2).
Donarski, in her final collegiate season, is third on the team in scoring. North Carolina’s Top 6 scorers are all averaging between 7.6-10.8 points.
Donarksi is at 9.6, while shooting 40.8% from the field and 36.6% from beyond the arc — hitting 2.1 3-pointers per game. She’s also averaging 2.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.4 assists per game — plus a career-low .4 turnovers in 25.7 minutes per game.
North Carolina’s only two losses this season have come to No. 2 UConn (69-58) and No. 25 Georgia Tech (82-76).
