MADISON — While Donald Trump was campaigning with Packers legend Brett Favre in Green Bay, Kamala Harris was a few hours south, rallying in Madison with the Wisconsin Badgers volleyball team.

As Harris entered the Alliant Energy Center, she was greeted by the Badgers and Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers.

As Harris hugged each player, they gasped. Harris told them it was good to meet them and that they have an extrodinary team.

One of the players could be heard telling her, “You’re so pretty.”

Wisconsin (15-4) is ranked seventh in the nation and an undefeated 8-0 at home.

A banner across the stage read “Badgers for Harris-Walz,” which points to just how important the young vote is, as UW students and Madison in general, have turned out the vote at incredibly high rates of late.

Harris continued to stress unity and common ground, expanding on her capstone speech Tuesday in Washington, where she laid out what her team called the “closing argument” of her campaign.

“I am not looking to score political points,” the vice president said. “I am looking to make progress.”
