No. 9 Badgers set block record with win over Michigan

It was a block party Sunday for the ninth-ranked University of Wisconsin volleyball team in beating Michigan 3-1 on the road Sunday.
Carter Booth had a career-high 12 blocks, as Wisconsin set a four-set, team record with 21 in the game.
Anna Smrek added eight blocks and setter Charlie Fuebringer had six — also a career high — for the Badgers (), who have won seven consecutive matches.
Fuebringer also had 45 assists and seven digs.
Sarah Franklin led UW with 19 kills and added 13 digs, while Smrek had 17 kills.
Next up for the Badgers, a trip to Indiana on Thursday followed by No. 10 Purdue on Saturday.
