Badgers fall to 0-2, losing to defending champs Texas; UW started last season 18-0

After starting last season 18-0 and ultimately getting to the Final Four, it’s been a much different start to this season for the University of Wisconsin volleyball team. And for good reason.
The No. 3-ranked Badgers lost Sunday to top-ranked Texas 3-1 at the Milwaukee Bucks stadium as part of a volleyball showcase.
Wisconsin also lost last week to No. 6 Louisville, 3-1.
Things don’t really get easier Monday, either, to complete the showcase, as the Badgers face off against No. 5 Stanford at 4 p.m. on Fox.
The Cardinal beat Minnesota on Sunday, 3-1.
