The La Crosse Loggers baseball team’s second-half struggles continued last weekend.
La Crosse dropped a pair against Wisconsin Rapids, losing on the road Saturday 6-3 and at Copeland Park on Sunday 14-2.
With the two Rapids (26-26) losses, the Loggers (28-25) are now 6-13 in the second half of the season and have dropped from first to tied for third in the Great Plains East division.
They are still only 1.5 games back of first-place Thunder Bay (30-24).
The Loggers are off until Thursday, when they host Fond du Lac at Copeland Park.
