Another tough comeback fell short Thursday for the La Crosse Loggers baseball team at Copeland Park.
The Loggers fell 6-5 at Minot, scoring four runs in the eighth inning.
That comes after scoring five runs in the bottom of the ninth on Wednesday, before falling 11-9 to Duluth.
The two teams run it back at 6:35 p.m. Friday in La Crosse.
La Crosse (27-23) is 5-11 to start the second half of the season, after winning the division the first half. The Loggers are still in second place, 1.5 games back of Thunder Bay.
