Loggers sweep at Copeland Park, while Steam beat Mankato — teams play softball-baseball doubleheader Monday

A sweep at Copeland Park over the weekend by the La Crosse Loggers baseball team, who have now won five consecutive games.
Up against Waterloo on Friday and Saturday, the Loggers beat the Bucks 12-8 and 11-1, and then beat Thunder Bay 6-4 on Sunday.
The Loggers and Border Cats wrap up the twinbill at 6:35 p.m. Monday.
Meanwhile, the La Crosse Steam softball team defeated Mankato 7-3 on Sunday, their first road win of the season.
The teams now flip parks and begin a four-game series at Copeland, beginning at 12:05 p.m. Monday. La Crosse is 2-0 so far at home.
