Retired La Crosse Center director Art Fahey will throw out the first pitch to the La Crosse Day Brewers game coming in June.
That was announced during an event Thursday kicking off ticket sales for the Explore La Crosse tourism bureau.
This is the 27th year La Crosse Day will be celebrated at a Brewers game in Milwaukee. Organizers said the La Crosse group is usually the biggest from any one community to attend.
This year, La Crosse Day at the Brewers game will happen June 26 against the World Series champion Texas Rangers, with first pitch set for 1:10 p.m. on that Wednesday.
Ticket sales began Thursday at the Moose Lodge, while online sales haven’t begun yet.
Tickets will cost $100 and include bus transportation, plus a pregame tailgate. Kids 12 and under will be cheaper.
