West Salem, Aquinas, G-E-T advance to sectional finals

It was a successful day for the Coulee region as multiple teams in the boys high school basketball playoffs got to one step away from the state tournament.
In Division 2, the #1 seed West Salem Panthers knocked off the #2 seed Fox Valley Lutheran 92-71. They will face River Falls on Saturday afternoon.
In Division 3, G-E-T defeated #1 seed Elk Mound 61-55.
The Aquinas Bluegolds defeated Durand-Arkansaw 54-39 in the sectional semifinal in Division 4, much of the lead growing after halftime.
All sectional finals will take place on Saturday.
The state tournament will be played live at the Kohl Center in Madison from March 14-16th.
