WKTY featuring high school boys basketball, as playoffs start Tuesday
The road to state begins Tuesday, as the WIAA boys basketball playoffs have finally arrived and WKTY will be streaming Central in the opening round and Onalaska in Round 2 on Friday.

The Riverhawks (13-11) have the No. 7 seed and host 10th-seeded Sparta (4-20) — a team they beat 82-47 and 77-52 in the regular season.
The winner will play No. 2-seeded and fourth-ranked Fox Valley Lutheran (22-2).
Also opening Tuesday in Division 2 will see No. 9 Logan (7-17) traveling to eighth-seeded Shawano (8-16). The winner there will play top-seeded West Salem (21-3), which is fifth in D2.
In Division 1, 15th-seeded Holmen (12-12) will host No. 18 Appleton West (1-23) at 6 p.m. — all other games are at 7 p.m. The winner will play No. 2-seeded Stevens Point on Friday.
Meanwhile, No. 4 Onalaska (18-6) — which is ranked just outside the Top 10 — received a first-round bye and will host fifth-seeded New London (15-8) on Friday night.
Also getting a first-round bye was ninth-ranked and third-seeded Aquinas (19-5) in Division 4 and will await the winner of Augusta against Regis.
The state tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison is March 14-16.
