La Crosse native Lexi Donarski had 12 points, three rebounds, two steals an assist and no turnovers in helping the 20th-ranked North Carolina women’s basketball team take out Miami 66-61.
Donarski led the team, playing 40 minutes. The 6-foot senior was 5-for-11 from the field and 2 of 6 from beyond the arc.
All five starters for the Tar Heels (15-5) scored in double figures, while holding the Hurricanes (12-6) to 38.2 percent shooting.
North Carolina has won four consecutive games and nine of its last 10 — including wins over 13th-ranked Louisville, No. 16 Notre Dame and No. 25 Syracuse.
