La Crosse’s Donarski still can’t find shot, but No. 23 Tar Heels keep rolling
Another tough outing for La Crosse native Lexi Donarski, but her 23rd-ranked North Carolina women’s basketball team pulled out a 73-68 win Thursday over Georgia Tech.
Donarski shot just 2-for-8, going 0 of 4 from deep, in scoring four points to go with three assists, two rebound and two turnovers.
The senior has now scored just 10 points over the past three games, shooting a combined 4 of 23 from the field. The seven games prior to that, the 6-foot shooting guard was averaging 14.1 points.
Regardless, the Tar Heels (13-4) have won seven of their last eight, including back-to-back wins over No. 25 Syracuse and No. 16 Notre Dame.
