La Crosse’s Donarski looks to bounce back Thursday from two-game slump, as No. 23 North Carolina faces Georgia Tech
Ahead of a matchup at home against 13th-ranked Louisville, La Crosse native Lexi Donarski looks to bounce back from a two-game slump Thursday evening, as the 23rd-ranked North Carolina women’s basketball team faces Georgia Tech.
Donarski, a 6-foot shooting guard, scored just three points in back-to-back games, shooting a combined 2-for-15 from the field.
Before that, the senior had scored double-figures in six of seven games, including 23- and 22-point outings.
Donarski leads the Tar Heels (12-5) in minutes. She’s averaging 10.5 points on 37.2-percent shooting from beyond the arc, hitting 2.5 3-pointers a game.
North Carolina (12-5) is 2-4 against ranked opponents, which includes a 65-58 loss to No. 1 South Carolina.
Thursday’s matchup against Georgia Tech begins at 5 p.m. and can be seen on the ACC Network at ESPN+.
