A ray of hope in a disappointing end of the Milwaukee Brewers season, swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL Wildcard playoffs.
For those wondering if Hall of Fame announcer Bob Uecker will be back next year, this is what the 89 year old said to end Tuesday night’s broadcast:
“Wish it could have been another way, but we’ll get it again, together. We’ll be back with it with 60-70 guys in a game next spring out in Arizona,” Uecker said. “We’ll do that, we’ll do it again. Don’t know who we’ll be playing next season out there, but we will be back next season, once again.”
