LOGAN AT TOMAH

Logan (2-4, 2-2) needs to win two of its last three games to clinch a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

The Rangers are trying to bounce back from a 49-17 loss to Baraboo last week.

Logan has relied on an explosive offense, putting up more than 27 points per game.

Quarterback Bradley Check has proven to be a successful dual threat quarterback with more than 1,400 rushing and passing yards combined.

Last year’s quarterback, Johnny Leaver, who has taken snaps in the role, has 16 touchdowns overall.

Tomah (2-4, 0-4), which won its first two games of the year, is still looking for a conference win.

The Timberwolves have a run heavy offense led by Senior Logan Rufeldt, averaging over 100 yards a game and 8 touchdowns.

Coverage will start at 6:50 p.m. with Drew Kelly on the call. You can also listen on 96.7 FM and 580 AM.

CENTRAL AT HOLMEN

Holmen is looking to replicate last year’s formula into making the playoffs, losing its first four games before winning the next five.

Holmen (2-4 overall and 2-2 in the Mississippi Valley Conference) has a tough test against Central (5-1, 3-1).

The Hilltoppers beat Sparta last week in come-from-behind fashion, 27-24, after trailing by 14 in the first half. Holmen’s signature ground attack is led by quarterback Noah Ertz, who has rushed for 417 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Central’s only loss came against Onalaska in Week 4, 36-35, following a last-minute, two-point conversion.

Teague Fenwick is on the call with pregame at 6:45 p.m.
