Holmen football home-opener pushed back to Friday; WKTY will stream
As the Coulee Region endures 100-degree temperatures, a number of events are being delayed.
One of those is the Holmen High School football home-opener against River Falls.
The game has both been pushed back until Friday and is starting a half hour later.
WKTY will be streaming the contest — and all Holmen’s games — with pregame set for 7:20 p.m.

Holmen is 0-1, after losing Chippewa Falls 17-14 last Thursday. River Falls won last week in its opener 33-6 over Wisconsin Rapids.
Also streaming at 6:50 p.m. on WKTY will be Onalaska’s home-opener against Medford. Both teams are looking for their first win, as the Hilltoppers lost their season-opener last week 35-28 to West Salem. Medford lost to New Richmond 44-24.
