Bob Uecker on the call, as the Brewers look to end six-game skid, facing division-leading Pirates
A rare two days off in one week for the Milwaukee Brewers,
Perhaps it’s just what they need, in the midst of a six-game losing streak, including three of those games against the Oakland A’s — the worst team in baseball, by far.
After a quick two-game stint in Minneapolis, losing twice to the Twins, Milwaukee is back home to face the Central Division-leading Pittsburgh Pirates.
Bob Uecker will be on the call, with Julio Teheran on the mound for the Brewers, who are a half game behind the Pirates in the standings.
The 32-year-old Teheran has been solid since being signed by Milwaukee. Though he’s just 1-2, he has an impressive 1.48 ERA and 15 strikeouts to three walks in 24.1 innings pitched.
Pittsburgh throws Rich Hill tonight. He’s just 6-5 with a 4.37 ERA.
Pregame with Uecker on WKTY begins at 6:35 p.m. Tune in on 96.7 FM / 580 AM
