The first time the Central and Onalaska high school boys basketball teams squared off this season, it produced a buzzer beater for the win in overtime.

What will Round 2 have in store?

We’ll find out at 7:15 p.m. Friday — doors open at 5:15 p.m. — when the ninth-ranked Riverhawks travel to No. 4 Onalaska.

Central (17-5, 9-1) is led in scoring by Nic Williams’ 17 points per game.

Evan Anderson leads Onalaska (16-4, 10-0) with 19 points a game. Anderson has taken on a more aggressive offensive role recently, with sophomore TJ Stuttley rounding into form after spraining his ankle earlier this month.
