WKTY Cares about the Boy Scouts of America Gateway Area Council thanks to our sponsors Kratt Lumber Company of La Crosse and the Reinhart Food Service who donated $1,000.00 to the program.

The Gateway Area Council offers many different experiences to Cub Scouts, like tubing, ice fishing, woodworking, events at Copeland Park and many more. Read more about all they have to offer on their website.

WKTY Cares funds will be specifically used to financially assist scouts who want to attend camps, according to Kevin Corkin- the Development & Community Engagement Director of the Gateway Area Council.

Many young scouts get their first overnight experience at Camp Decorah or other scouting camps, something Corkin said will be made easier for many thanks to donations from Kratt Lumber Company of La Crosse and Reinhart Food Service.
