What’s on the table today?: Monday Night Football: Eagles @ Cowboys betting preview

Tonight Monday Night Football wraps up a wild, and historic Week 3 in the NFL. Sunday saw Justin Tucker (Baltimore Ravens) make history and upset the Lions with a last second 66 yard field goal to win it for the Ravens 19-17, the Chargers upset the Chiefs in Kansas City, the Rams announced they are for real in a 34-24 win over the reigning Super Bowl Champion Bucs, and the Green Bay Packers walked off the 49ers on a Mason Crosby 51 yarder.

Monday night, don’t expect any of those fireworks as the Eagles and Cowboys conclude Week 3 in Dallas. The best part about tonight’s game will surely be the Peyton and Eli alternate ESPN broadcast of the game, and that’s the only thing that intrigues me about this game.

The Eagles are 1-1 and the Cowboys are 1-1, and that’s where the intrigue ends for me. However, many of us are still looking for a little action on tonight’s offering and for those so inclined, below is the most recent line, total, and a few trends that you should consider before making a play.

  • Eagles @ Cowboys (-3.5) / total 51 ½
  • Cowboys are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
  • Eagles are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss.
  • Under is 4-0 in Eagles last 4 Monday games.
  • Under is 4-1 in Cowboys last 5 games as a favorite.
