Twitter reacts to that Giannis block; “Great hustle play,” Antetokounmpo says
Well, we didn’t get a replay of, perhaps, the greatest play in Game 4 — or these Finals — on Wednesday, but there’s always Twitter.
Here’s Giannis Antetokounmpo’s block on DeAndre Ayton with Milwaukee up 101-99 and just over a minute left to help get the win over the Suns, and how Twitter reacted:
He's a FREAK!! pic.twitter.com/psoObkEdef

Antetokounmpo on the block: “Just a hustle play. I thought I was going to get dunked on to be honest with you … but going down the stretch, just doing whatever it takes to win the game.”
“I thought I was going to get dunked on, to be honest with you.”

People to Giannis: Why didn’t you guard KD against the Nets?
— Mike Finger (@mikefinger) July 15, 2021
Giannis: Against the Suns I will guard both Booker and Ayton at the same time. https://t.co/AI0aw0esrF

That Giannis block of Ayton is being completely overrated. IT WAS A LOB. Giannis had plenty of time to go up and meet Ayton as he was catching the ball at its peak. He almost couldn't help but block it.
