What’s on the table today?: Aaron Rodgers landing spot (Team Odds)

In one appearance on ESPN’s Sportscenter joining Kenny Mayne on his final broadcast, Aaron Rodgers finally opened up about his feelings about the situation in Green Bay.

When asked by Mayne, directly, if he wanted a trade Rodgers said “yea”, before moving on to a languid discussion about “culture”, and “teams being made up of people”, and a whole lot of stuff that can seem ambiguous when you’re not focusing on what Rodgers said, when directly asked.

Kenny Mayne asked Rodgers if he wanted to be traded, and Rodgers said “yea”. Now what?

If you’re the Green Bay Packers this is all sorts of bad, but at least for Packers fans, we know where this guy is at. He wants out. Now it’s up to the club to work out the best possible trade scenario so they can get the best possible return.

Anything short of that would be a fool’s-errand in my estimation. In that vein, today we’re taking a look at the latest odds (from FanDuel) for the teams supposedly in the running to land the future Hall of Fame quarterback.  As we’ve seen, these odds can be right on, or way off, but it does give us an insight into what the MONEY is saying…and if you know the old saying; “follow the money”, this might be a good indication of where Aaron will play next.

  • Denver Broncos (+220)
  • Las Vegas Raiders (+600)
  • San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots all come in at +2000
  • Long shots are the Miami Dolphins (+3100), Carolina Panthers (+3700), Washington Football (+3700), New York Jets (+7000) and Houston Texans (+7000)
