La Crosse Center to host first-ever Wisconsin high school girls state wrestling tourney

The first-ever high school girls state wrestling tournament is coming to the La Crosse Center next year.
The WIAA Board of Control on Tuesday approved the tournament for June 29, 2022.
The Center will house the meet for two years, with Holmen High School serving as host.
Part of the reasoning in coming to La Crosse was the experience and relationships built from hosting some of the boys and girls state basketball tournaments during the pandemic.
