Milwaukee has won eight consecutive games, after Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 50-point effort Monday against Utah.

The 24-year-old looks to overtake Bill Walton’s record of 34 consecutive double-doubles to start a season tonight. Walton had 34 straight back in 1976-77. Antetokounmpo currently sits at 17 for the 14-3 Bucks.

Antetokounmpo leads the team, averaging 31.1 points, 13.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists.

His 50 points, 14 rebounds and zero turnovers Monday made him one of four players in NBA history to ever score 50 with double-digit rebounds and no turnovers. The other three: Moses Malone, Michael Jordan twice, and Carmelo Anthony.

Middleton missed the past seven games for the Bucks. The 28-year-old is averaging 18.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists for Milwaukee, which is 14-and-3.

Atlanta is led by second-year point guard Trae Young who’s averaging 26.6 points and 8.7 assists.
