Free-agent third basemen Mike Moustakas and the Milwaukee Brewers have apparently agreed to a one-year contract, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.
Moustakas will make $10 million in 2019 with a mutual option for 2020, according to the MLB Network’s Jon Heyman.
Moustakas declined a $15-million mutual option at the end of last season to become a free agent.
Here’s how Christian Yelich celebrated the news.
The 30-year-old slashed a combined .251/.315/.459 with 28 home runs and 95 RBI across 156 games with the Royals and Brewers last season.
