CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Team LeBron versus Team Giannis went to the veteran in last night’s all-star game.
LeBron James’ team won the game 178-164, but Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 38 points.
The highlight of the night may have been a bounce pass, alley-oop from Steph Curry to the Greek Freak, whose head was above the rim and arm was at the top of the backboard when he grabbed the ball and slammed it home … and both benches reacted in disbelief.
Team LeBron was down 20 points at halftime. Kevin Durant won the MVP, scoring 31 points.
Bucks forward Khris Middleton, in his first all-star game, scored 20 points for Team Giannis.
Next year’s all-star game is in Chicago.
