The La Crosse fireworks have been postponed until 9:45 p.m. Thursday.
The opening day Riverfest celebration today has reopened, however.
Fireworks were cancelled, because of heavy rains that swept through the city Wednesday afternoon.
The fireworks will take place just before the Chris Lane concert.
The festgrounds reopened until midnight, but food tent offerings and entertainment have been reduced. The Remainders will not be performing this evening.
