Jabari Parker uncertain what future is with Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks and Jabari Parker don’t appear to be on the same page when it comes to their futures together.
The 23-year-old power forward will be a restricted free agent this summer and doesn’t know where he fits in with the Bucks.
“Honestly, it’s uncertain,” Parker told The Washington Post. “I know that, just looking from afar, (the Bucks) will be fine.
“But I just have to see what’s going to happen with my future, and that’s uncertain. But I know for them, they’ll be fine regardless. They’ve been doing well.”
He reportedly turned the a three-year deal worth around $54 million from the Bucks earlier this season.
The 2014 No. 2 pick is averaging 11.9 points, shooting 49 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from beyond the arc to go along with 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists in 23 minutes per game as he works his way back from a second ACL tear.
He did have 35 points, going 5-for-8 from beyond the arc, and 10 rebounds in the overtime loss to Denver last Saturday. And this dunk …
The Bucks are currently in a three-way tie with Washington and Miami for the final three playoff spots in the east.
