The playoffs are safe for the top team in the Mississippi Valley Conference.
It’s the away team, playing at home on WKTY beginning at 6:45 p.m. tonight that needs to win two of its final three to guarantee a postseason spot.

Logan is 3-3 in the MVC and needs to finish with an above-.500 record in conference with just three weeks left in the regular season. After tonight, the Rangers host Holmen (4-2, 3-1), the No. 2 team in conference before playing Aquinas (0-6, 0-4).
Logan is also trying to bounce back from an emotional defeat to rival Central last week. THe Rangers had beaten the Red Raiders the past six seasons.
West Salem (5-1, 4-0), which is guaranteed a playoff spot, is the host team but the game will be played at Logan. The Panthers field is still being repaired.
Brendan Holt leads West Salem in rushing with 793 yards to go with eight touchdowns.
Logan quarterback Matthew Escher has 868 yards passing with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions. His completion percentage is 67.
