ATLANTA — With a very Brett Favre-like shovel pass to running back Ty Montgomery, Green bay Packers quarterback made bittersweet history.
Montgomery scored on the 1-yard pass Saturday against the Atlanta Falcons in a game that was all but over. The touchdown pass was Rodgers’ 300th all-time, making him the fastest player to achieve the feat. He’s also the only quarterback to get to 300 having yet to throw 100 interceptions — and it’s not even close.

Rodgers is now the 11th player in NFL history — 10th all-time in touchdown passes — to reach 300 but the other 10 QBs averaged 171 INTs before getting the mark. Rodgers has 74 interceptions. He’s also gotten to 300 in less games (144). Dan Marino and Peyton Manning are no second on the list, having each needed 157 games.

The other QBs on the list: Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Dan Marino, Fran Tarkenton, Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger and John Elway.
While Rodgers has just 74 interceptions at the 300-mark, Brady is the next most impressive having hit 300 with 115 interceptions. At Rodgers’ pace, he would hit 400 touchdowns before surpassing 100 interceptions.
