The Central High School football team used 407 yards of passing from Johnny Davis last week to win its season-opener.

The Red Raiders cruised to a 45-7 win over Eau Claire North.

Tonight, against Eau Claire Memorial on WKTY, perhaps a little more of a balanced attack according to Central coach Tony Servais.

Johnny Davis’ brother Jordan Davis, who had 3 receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter last week, is out. The sophomore dislocated his ankle in that game and there’s no timetable for his return.

Memorial defeated Logan 35-6 last year in La Crosse.
